Following a successful annual business meeting, we’re thrilled to announce the results of our recent electronic elections! Stepping into the role of Chair is Kim Speakman, who previously served as Treasurer. Tobi Zavala will take on the role of Secretary, while Dr. Denauvo Robinson and Carol Staben Burroughs will serve as our new Members at Large. Their two-year terms officially begin on April 1, 2025, and we look forward to their leadership!
With Ms. Speakman moving into the Chair position, a vacancy has opened in the Treasurer role. As per our bylaws, the Commission is actively working to elect a new Treasurer to continue our strong financial stewardship.
We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Jamie Doming, Dr. Latofia Parker, and Ashleigh Irving for their dedication and service since October 2022. Their contributions have been invaluable, and we appreciate all they have done!
